Syerra graduated from Iowa State University with a B.S. in Psychology. She was a research assistant in the Psychology Lab for two years, and was a board member for a student organization that raised over 75,000 dollars for St. Jude Children’s Hospital. She enjoys helping people and learning new skills. She has recently worked in marketing and sales. Her role at 600Monkeys involves customer engagement and learning skills to help with computer repairs, both software and hardware related. She is eager to help customers find solutions to their computer troubles and to help more people learn about the work that 600Monkeys is doing.
Justice became interested in computers and technology when he was given a computer at age 13. He studied business management at William Penn University and graduated in 2007. He is interested in how computers work, how they communicate, process and organize data. Justice continues to learn new and interesting things on a daily basis.
Erik - Lead Technician
Erik has had an interest in computers ever since his family acquired their first home computer in 1993. He began studying Computer Science at Iowa State University, and switched to a Computer Support Specialist degree at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, IA.
He is especially drawn to the versatility that computers possess as tools. A computer can be used for the purpose of communication, entertainment, and the precise control of complicated machinery and is fascinated by the way in which many hardware devices and software processes can come together to perform either specialized or generalized tasks. Erik is excited to learn anything that he can about how computers work and is eager to use knowledge of computers to help customers of 600 Monkeys.
Jim has helped provide computer service and support for residential and business customers in the Midwest since 1997. He has a degree in mathematics from Augustana College and has served in the the military as a helicopter crew-chief, aviation maintenance supervisor and intelligence analyst. His leadership experience with Boatman’s banks, Des Moines Area Community College, CE Software and Meyocks and Priebe Advertising has helped to create a blend of know-how that offers a unique, helpful and durable customer service experience. 600Monkeys has been incorporated since 2011 and provides computer help, training, consulting, software development and data recovery in the Midwest.
